I swear, you're the only player I've seen who's equal parts good and attentive enough to make deck profile/combo videos that actually help me understand the game more and improve as a player Your Snake-Eye combo video did a lot to start me on a solid path to learn the routes and understand how the cards work as an engine so I could build more decks over time, so I'm sure this video will do the same for Albaz/Despia

The point is that if your opponent ashes Branded Fusion, with High Spirits you get Fusion Albion in grave which searches you branded in red. What basically gives you access to mirrorjade next turn. If you would search branded fusion with aluber you basically can't play afterwards... It's not a 'beat ash' scenario, it's a use your ressources wisely to generate the most advantage and not completely lose to ash.

In the second combo, you could do everything exactly as you did but leave cartesia in GY. Then activate the mirrorjade to banish lubellion. Trigger Quem and summon back cartesia. And then you have a board of, Quem, cartesia, mirrorjade, Aluber, lost and red still set. So then you can go cartesia effect on opponents turn, fuse with mirrojade to summon granguignol. New chain, cl1 guignol dump puppet, cl2 Quem summon back mirror jade , cl 3 lost add something and cl4 red target albaz and banish it with guignol to summon sanctifire Also I absolutely love the fact that you can discard cartesia for lubellion and then Quem summon it back for free lol

Honestly, I am still a fan of Nadir Servant. It is unsearchable, but ending in cartesia+quem+maximus(+aluber) and albaz in grave through ash blossom seems powerful to me. I also like to stay at 40 cards an am poss poor, so no crossout or thrust for me, which makes nadir servant the best option.

3:51 min: How can you make a Mirrorjade with Branded in Red without a Fusionmonster on the field? I get that you take Albaz from grave with it but theres no Synchro, Xyz, Link or Fusion Monster on your side of the field to fuse into Mirrorjade with it. Or did I miss something?

for anyone who wants to never worry about nib/fire (or w.e attribute you dont like) follow these steps -3 shs wakaushi -1 Soulhorns -1 big benkei -1 Denglong -1 fire yang zing -Cheofeng do regular SHS combo, search the horns, make the denglong, denglong cl1 wak cl2, add fire yangzing to hand, pen summon the fire yangzing and make cheofeng. Nib proof as its summon 5 and theyre locked out from using Light/fire effects if you dont wanna lock fire and rather have an omni negate, add in 1 zefra yang zing, Zefra devine strike, and remove fire yang zing for bian. summon denglong, add zefra to hand, send bian to grave, pend summon the zefra, add trap to hand, make chefeng and now opp is locked from earth/light effects and you have an omni negate facedown to deal with DRNM etc. -doesnt use normal summon -cannot summon more monsters with pen effect or risk of being nibbed. Nib Safe -always locks out light(nib, veiler, gamma, rabbit, lancea) -can lock out fire/earth/dark/wind also(fire lock sounds nice to me. Locks ash blossom, and all fire decks, lock out dark for branded ) -generic -downside youre adding 3-5 bricks(hand dependent as you can change the order of the combo. if you have bian in hand you send the zefra and make cheofeng without the omni negate)

Normal summon Quem is mid tbh but here’s a few - quem + Bystial lubellion NS Quem, dump mercourier. Activate lubellion sending it to GY to add Saronir. Saronir effect targeting the mercourier. Then since the mercourier was banished activate its effect to add Albion the shrouded. Then tribute the Saronir for lubellion and trigger the Saronir effect in GY to dump branded retribution or branded fusion. Then use the Albion in hand to send the other. Retribution banish to add back branded fusion. You could send a different branded s/t instead of brafu but this is the line most people know. - Quem + Albion the shrouded NS Quem, dump retribution. Albion effect send branded fusion (or whatever you need) to GY. - Quem + Cartesia NS Quem, dump Albion the shrouded. Activate cartesia in hand to SS since Albion is treated as albaz in GY. Play as you want from there.

I play locals in Belgrade, Serbia and most of the players there are Branded players. I find it baffling that no one overseas talks about this deck when it's the thing I hate the most over here. Not one handtrap can stop them. They gimmick puppet lock you. I am playing Fire King Snake-Eyes and I still have a very hard time beating them. It's the reason why everyone plays D. Barrier in their decks over here and I play super poly and forbidden droplet.

I tend to play the Fusion Duplication version. I sometimes play other versions. But I like it the most because it gives the most wiggle room for non-engine by trying to force a Branded Fusion to resolve rather than running a bunch of different packages. Designed this way it can perform like a all gas deck when combined with Cartesia, Quem, and Branded in Red without the draw back of not having room for non-engine all gas decks generally have.

he is a soft once per turn. You can activate mirrorjade's effect again next turn if you negated it with Rindbrumm or if you summoned it back with Quem.

@@alejandrosr6261 I get what you mean, but the thing is droll doesn’t stop branded from getting to branded fusion just because aluber searched something else. There are so many ways to get retribution and branded fusion to GY. And ash does hurt but if you droll and they have talents or thrust, they can put back the ash before branded fusion or thrust can set duplication. There have been games where I get drolled before I add branded fusion, and then I just make it a mission to get branded fusion to the gy so I can thrust set duplication and then pass turn.

Combo 1 ending in a single mirrorjade if ashed is kinda bad. Most fire hands have a way to force the mirrorjade banish and then otks you, so i guess still looses to Ash Blossom

Also branded in red I also run with ecclesia gl with targets like veilers. If I see even one of these cards. Now again I play a 40 card so idk if this works for a 60 card like op says he won't see the tip tactics or called by consistently
