I am sorry to say that I totally disagree with you because your thoughts are not that of a sports journalist but only a Pakistani. There is a reason why india refused to play with Pakistan in the first place and that was only because of the terrorist activities promoted by Pakistan. India still agreed to play against pakistan in ICC tournaments but on neutral venues and India did offer to play Pakistan in India during ICC events hosted by India. The question is what has Pakistan done in all these years to gain India's trust? The most wanted criminals and terrorists are still being sheltered and harboured by Pakistan can you deny that? It is very easy for you to think that Indian team should come to Pakistan and play but the fact is that they will be targeted and will always be under fear as long as they are there. If Pakistan was serious about the whole thing then they would have addressed the concerns of the Indian government and agreed to host india in some other country from day one. Being a host does not necessarily mean that the event should always be played in your country. As a host I can choose to have my function at home or else in a hall / restaurant and that will depend on who the guests are but under any circumstances I will still remain the host. India refused to travel to Pakistan purely because of security concerns but Pakistan's decision was based on EGO that if india does not come we will also not go there. You need to admit that the condition in India is far different and better than Pakistan and that's true. Any other chairman would have agreed to address the issue amicably but because your current chairman is a politician first hence he decided to play politics and has screwed the entire event. It will be extremely difficult for Pakistan to host any further ICC events after these antics and the relationship between the two boards will further worsen. There won't be any cricketing relationship between the two countries in the future and trust me most of us will be very much OK with that. So please learn to call a spade a spade if you really want to be a journalist leave alone being a good journalist.
