PakWheels brings a new series Wheels of Pakistan in collaboration with #MountainDew in which we will be covering the unique cars and bikes from different parts of Pakistan.
The BMW i8 is a plug in hybrid sports car. The i8 is part of BMW's electrified fleet and is marketed under the BMW i sub-brand. The BMW i8 Roadster variant was added to the BMW i line-up in 2018.
BMW i8 combines petrol power and electric motors quick response to achieve remarkable 0-60mph time of 4.4 seconds. BMW i8 1.5L 3-cyl turbocharged engine produces 228 hp at 5800 rpm coupled with 105kW electric motor. The top speed of BMW i8 is 250 km/h which is electronically limited.
