Great tips. One rule that I would like to add is: "whenever two vehicles are crossing each other from opposite side and on a narrow path, always give priority to the vehicle going uphill" the vehicle going down hill must stop and give way to vehicle going up hill.

Agreed to this point, I always give way to uphill car because its engine is on full load and if we break its momentum, car may roll back or will require extra efforts to starts climbing again

Effective information, thanks pakwheels, one thing I want say as an additional information, the distance between the vehicles while driving must be as per the below formula; 1. Driving at 10km/hr distance to keep 10 meters. 2. Driving at 20km/hr distance to keep 20 meters. 3. Driving at 30km/hr distance to keep 30 meters. 4. Driving at 40km/hr distance to keep 40 meters. And so on likely if; 5. Driving at 100km/hr distance to keep 100 meters. This formula is in practice in driving schools of Gulf Countries as a safety precautions.

The one golden rule while driving in mountains is The gear that u use while going up on a certain slope, same gear should be used for going down on that same slope. If you follow this rule more than half of your problems will go away automatically.

Always read. Safar ki dua then. 10 times darood. Then 4 quls. Plus. Surah al-nasr. At the end read bismillah. Trust Allah. You will be safe. Allah forbid you get into any accident. First of all u won’t get into an accident. Other than that he said everything good.

One important tip is that not use half clutch when you are in a rushy uphill road. It will ruin your vehicle's clutch plate in no time. And if you feel that you are doing it and your clutch plates are heated up and causing a smell then immediately find a safe spot and let your vehicle to cool down. Before going to any of the mountainous journey make sure to adjust the clutch before the trip by consulting a good mechanic. Journeys are meant are meant to enjoy so try not to ruin them.

The major problem in downhill driving is braking, always use "pulse braking method", its like braking with intervals alongwith engine brake, pakka daba kay na rakhain, wakfay wakfay say brake lagain

One most important driving tip in mountains is missing which don't leave your side, especially on blind turns, don't take a broad turn, take a close turn keeping your vehicle on your hand.

@@musabumair8819 always lower gear Furst thank r at max second ⚙️ gear… Keep a little distance from the car ahead it will increase your frontal visibility and give u margin of maneuverability If driving on a carpeted road and u r turning on a turn which isn’t steep or very sharp u can keep ur speed upto 40-50 kph But if a sharp turn is ahead, make sure u bring ur car positively under control and dead slow especially on kacha track/roads On wet roads/tracks keep lower speed Don’t make a mistake of speeding up where u can not keep the car under control in case of emergency braking if required

I'm a good driver and was bit reluctant driving in mountains so yo overcome my hesitation I took tricky roads Monte Bianco Italy and Furka Pass in Switzerland. I was cautious and the journey overall was good but my question is should we take in consideration while ascending and descending mountain , increasing RMP even in 2nd gear, not accelerating and using pulse breaking downhill and using engine breaking?

I've drove longest from Karachi to Kund Malir Balochistan on Makran coastal highway. Eik cheez jo smooth road pa ma ne zindagi ma first time feel ki wo ye k waqai Driving ma "neend" bhi ati ha 😉 pehle ye smjh nhi ata tha k ye kese possible ha. Iss k liye mere sath jo dost betha tha osko jagay ma ne, chips nikalwaye, chewing gum start ki... Phir kuch neend pa control hua tha.. I think this is also a Tip 😋😎

The actual Rule of Distance is Per km : per Feet Example is 60 Km 60 feet distance 100km 100 feet distance . This is the standard rule .

V good tips. Just i want to add one more safety tip. Once if your brakes are heat up plz if you can change your brake fluid or before starting your trip while checking your car plz change your brake fluid. Its a cheaper repair but it can save you and others. Regards
