Suneel is right, don't mess up with their electronics I've owned these and tried to modify but ended up in troubles. Keep it as it is. It's a classy car enjoy the ride. Views lene aur content k chakar mein gadi ki maa bhen ek na krdena topi wale bhai.

Car can be jump-started without damaging BSM or controller if headlights are ON before and during jumpstart, I have tried and tested it.

If you ever upgrade the engine, please use M113 5.4 NA with transmission and diff from e55 w210 also swap the ecu key eis package and TCU

AC compressor won't be the issue. The cooling coil and condenser on these models usually go weak, check for it and then see. Look for the leaks though.

Also if the battery is dead car boot cannot be opened therefore Mercedes have provided jumpstart points in engine bay area.

Boot can be open with metal key in key fob. Jump starter point is just an additional feature.
