Never heard this song. Not until after Lataji left all of us. But when I heard it I felt that I have always known this song. There is that instant connection. The scenes even though I am a tamilan, are completely relatable. Transports you back to your childhood when life was simple, and innocent. I especially loved the way she forgets to drink her tea and then hugs her mom who silently understands her daughters emotions. Divine picturisation. Lata was the soul of this song. I simply know that this type of song will never ever be created again. Thank you lataji. Thanks to all u tube listeners who have commented. I agree with everyone’s sentiments.

Yes.. true..this song is old compared to present year 2020...but according to me songs in 1950s are far better and sweet than these... Listening to Lataji's tender voice of 50's is a out of this world experience. Her voice changed a lot and became very sharp. Can compare from her songs right from Ayega Anewala from Mahal, Barsat songs, Ye Zindagi usi ki hai from Anarkali, Dhire se Ajari Nindiya from Albela till Aja re Pardesi from Madhumati...from 1971's Bobby Lataji's voice changed very abruptly.
