Do you know if Matewan screened in Louisville when it first released. For some reason I’m so curious how the boys from Slint first saw Matewan, with or without Will, special screening or normal tickets, Coke, popcorn etc.

Whenever I hear this it makes me cry, Here’s a story. Back in third grade a little girl sang this song while crying for the talent show, later, I found out her dad sang that song before he died of cancer the summer. Keep in mind she is around eight years old. Her dad used to sing it to her 😢Very sad and I’m sorry for her loss.
