Palaces in Heaven

This short film, written and produced by Ran Lahav, tells the story of a man who yearns for higher domains of existence. The plot revolves around the ancient Heikhalot texts which were written around the 2nd century AD by Jewish mystics. These are enigmatic writings that describe mystical journeys to the seven palaces of heaven.
