I literally never use seal of vengeance on my Prot pally. Granted, my guild only runs a Prot and a holy so I have to judge wisdom or crusader. I could see judging vengeance if you have 2 other pallies to put up wisdom and crusader for the treat and then weave in righteousness judgements while keeping a 5 stack on a boss. What are your thoughts on it?

your vengeance judgement does nothing to judgement of wisdom. vengeance doesnt put seal on it

What vengeance has to do with what you are assigned to judge? When you judge veng, you don't override wisdom

@@OrreryBandCleveland Seal of Vengeance is separate, on-hit debuff on your target. It does not count as a judged Seal debuff. Therefore, you can use a different seal to judge and still have stacks of Seal of Vengeance.

Further to the other comments. A single stack of each on melee hit of vengeance adds 120 (or X damage depending on seal level) damage to the veangeance judgement. Once you are 3+ stacks of vengeance, the judgement will do more than a righteous judge so keep stacking vengeance and just judge with that. For mob pulls I tend to use righteous because I prefer the guaranteed holy damage on hit and the half decent judge to start building threat. If it a high hp boss I'll judge righteous on pull but stack vengeance from then as its better long term threat.

Hey man! Nice vid! I was woundering, whats your spec like? There is so much talk about Avenger's shield vs sanc aura atm. But I was thinking... is it really worth to lose all the damage/threat from ret aura when you have so many mobs attacking you? Whats your toughts on all this? Ty for your content!

Hey! The ideal situation ofc is to have both, that is to have a ret pally in your group and use ret aura yourself. This is how my guild will run it in TBC Classic. On this pserver I usually run sanctity aura (not in this one though), since 10% overall is much more than what the ret aura provides (also factoring in that your avoidance reduces the procs from ret aura, a dodge doesnt reflect damage for instance). So Sancitity is the way if you dont need Avengers Shield or the defensive talents like Ardent Defender, in my opinion at least :)
