Appearently, Iran (used to be Persia) was ruled by a hardline Islamic theocracy and they considered Taq-i Kisra Palace as heresy that should be purged. I said "heresy" and "purge" because I've been into Warhammer 40K.

Hagia Sophia and the Turkish mosque which clearly rips off its design. Both were built in Constantinople, which is today called Istanbul.

@@Aristocles22 no. selimiye is in edirne, not istanbul. second, the dome entered to the turkish architecture way before they saw hagia sophia, though they refined some of its elements in their mosques. so, not much of a rip off. third and last, the dome of hagia sophia is also a later development, originally it was not there, added afterwards. and it is turkish built, with the addition of metalic led coverage. (original roman dome collapsed more than once and had no led coverage)

@@evranirnek That's all bull. Anthemius and Isidore built that dome before there was even a religion called Islam. They rebuilt the dome well before 1453 and no one gives a damn about lead coverage.

there was incorrect name.. 1. The Franks Wonder is St.Vitus 2. The Malay Wonder is Kalasan Temple also.. The Indian Wonder now change to Brihadeswarar Temple since Rise of Rajas expansion update.
