What buff are you talking about unless you're talking about allies being able to use the shortcut then that's not really a buff but a utility feature that can go wrong if a high damage champ like bomb king is just waiting for you.

Dredge needs to lose some of his "Utility" not add more...

We really need more Tanks. Its so annoying that half of the casual rounds dont even have a Tank cauz its such an annoying role to play. You arent the one that makes the most ammount of kills so it isnt very rewarding and its hard to play a role everybody shots at. As a Sup/Tank main I have to say that I sometimes want to play DMG or Flank too cauz I suck as Flank and dont have much DMG Champs I can play. I want my Team to have a good set up and I dont wanna be the guy that is like oof all my picks are allready taken so yeet. You cant practice to play DMG or Flank if no one wants to play Tank cauz its a shit role.

@@DropsJ Fanservice. Players often want to be the ones who do an awesome ammount of kills even if its useless. I remember that I had a strix in my Team as I played Dragons call and we lost. He had a KDA of 40/2/30 but it was useless anyways. If you are a Tank you are important and people that play higher than silver 5 should know that. its still an annoying role cauz a Tank is standing on the point and pulling the payload which is borring and leads to many deaths. There are also very good tanks but the most ones are hard to use and that makes Paladins a very unfriendly place for people who want to practice.

I love using wings of wraith build with furia and having a 2nd one would come in handy for quick escapes while keeping the person from chasing you down. Those that know what kind of healing furia can pump out tend to focus fire her so it was nice having extra escape abilities. If deft hands is the one that speeds up reloading I use that on characters like viktor and Tyra as it makes them spam their primary weapon pumping out even more damage. It also saved me numerous times because I had a quick reload versus my opponent.

Now barik is just a massive meatbun with a sht shield, a little turret squad and a sht range. I mean hairtrigger was the one that keeps enemies scared to approach too close, now that it's gone, anyone can expect a talus running overcharge comeing at a barik and winning a duel.

One thing people don't know is shooting Vivian by here feet while shielded kills and doesn't shield her. Another is that on the point there's those small crevices to see feet abuse it as a sniper if you know what I mean. I wish they didn't patch the yellow curved beams. I used to fly up using the floating gems and just teleport on top of that thing as kinessa to snipe unsuspecting players. I tried going higher but it didn't work tho. Why am I sharing this? Cause I'm a nice person that likes trolling in a map(i.e. sneak up the enemy spawn and just shoot them once to remove their horses.) I just leave them low since if you kill them they'll see a kill cam. That is the last thing you'd want to happen when you're trolling the enemy on their side of the base. Leave them at less than 50% hp that's enough for your team to kill them in a few shots. Another is jumping over buildings as Kinessa using teleport aimed at the top of a roof. Commonly used in Stone Keep the garden side I often call flank's pass since they always jump over the wall or outside the map and in from the side. If you use Androx/Maeve you know these kinds of spots like the open drop on Frog Island siege. Maeve: Double jump outside the map, dash + 3rd mid-air jump, Q + Dash + 4th mid-air jump. Androx: Dash Diagonally upward+hover These are used to cover a long distance when you jump outside a map. Abuse this for spawn camping enemies or ambushing from unexpected places, the flank's main job aside from assassinating.

I think that many of the changes are awesome, but there are a few outstanding issues that need to be addressed before it goes live. Obviously nobody has played 2.01 yet, so these are just knee-jerk reactions, and could probably change as I play more. Androxus : Defiant Fist is hated by everyone. People who play against it hate it, people who play Androxus hate it. Why is it still here? You listened to everyone saying Over The Moon should stay. The main problem is that you can't tell how much damage a single Defiant Fist will do at any given moment. That's not okay. Barik : Hair Trigger was a boring damage buff, I'm glad it's gone. What I don't like is that nothing was done to anything else on Barik. Why doesn't Architectonics give you a third turret? That should be the most obvious Talent for Barik ever, and it might actually contest with Tinkerin. Why doesn't it? Bomb King: You said you were removing Royal Subjects. Why didn't you. Why did you remove the actually interesting Talent of Demolition? Where's the Cyclone Poppy? That sounded awesome and unique? WHY DOES ROYAL SUBJECTS STILL EXIST? Cassie : I'm the shittest Cassie in the world, so I can't really say much here, but I feel like turning yourself into a sniper with Just Breathe is a bit more interesting than just a basic buff that Impulse has. Dredge: Rework Dredge already. Drogoz: How dare you. How dare you get my hopes up by saying that he'll have a new card to increase the explosion radius of Salvo, only to take away Reign of Terror. Reign of Terror was awesome. Why not take away Fusillade? Or at the very least, make Fusillade reduce the explosion radius to turn it into a Direct Hit Talent. But bring back RoT. Fernando : Aegis and Formidable are bad. Scorch shouldn't be nerfed just to fit in line with them, they should be buffed to get in line with Scorch. Overall, this was a targeted nerf at Flanknando, who should be a thing in the game. The existence of Flanknando is a symbol of the game's variability, and how much loadouts and Talents can affect the game. Furia : Celerity is cool. The simple act of giving Wings of Wrath an extra charge turns Furia into an awesome combo champion, stringing WoW and Pyre Strike together. Cherish is outshined in every way by Solar Blessing. Bring back the interesting Talent. Khan: Firing Line is an awesome Talent, that completely changes why you use Battle Shout. Instead of it being a defensive heal, Battle Shout becomes an offense buff. The only thing it needed to be balanced was a removal of the healing, pushing you more into an offensive, but still interesting playstyle. On the other hand, we have Lian's Shield. It's a boring turtle Talent. Bulwark as it is is not a good ability to protect your team, and Shield Wall (which could make it somewhat viable) is completely awful. Kinessa: Get rid of Eagle Eye. That's all I have to say. You say you want to end the Burst Meta? Take away the icon of it. Koga: #TakeOffKogasShirt Mal'Damba: We don't need two Battle Damba Talents. Ripened Gourd should stay, as an extra Gourd Charge. I feel like that's been pretty obvious for awhile. Ruckus: Change Flux Generator to shield your allies and we're set here. Skye: Talk to Feralknights. I ain't touching this. Strix: Integrate some of Nocturnal into the base, and keep Ambush. Ambush is actually pretty cool, with the combo of getting back Stealth on elims. It affects the way you play quite a bit. Terminus: Undying does not feel like a Talent. Talents should be something you're constantly aware of on your Champion, and Undying is just sort of there. I feel like Strength of Stone fits a Talent much better. It is something that changes your playstyle, as well as the reason you use an ability. Also, screw that Power Siphon change. You can't make a change for the sake of consistency fighting Term when Term is so inconsistent to play due to bugs. And if I manage to outplay my opponent and trick them into shooting my Siphon, I deserve that. They lose. Torvald: I've talked to no end about my dislike for Torvald Talents. Remove Thanks, Grandpa. Make Alternating Current buff you to 4000 Shield. Make Direct Current turn Nullify into an AoE projectile.

Just Breathe maybe got taken away from her cauz she could do like 2o00 DMG in one and a half sec which is too much. I also love playing with Just Breathe but I think people who used this Talent need to get better with her. the other Talents are good too and more used but this leads to an unkillable F spamming Cassie which is OP too. Shes a strange Char cauz Just Breathe wasnt balanced. On the one hand she is a Champ that does slightly not enough DMG to kill but if her cooldowns are over she can do insane ammounts of DMG. Just Breathe would make this even worse even if the range where you get this DMG boost is way to far. But how i allready said it I dont want all Cassie players start to spamm F.

I dont like Drogoz health reduction, but he still should be usable. More of an issue for me is Reprieve removal. I know I was probably the only one still playing it, but it was a lot of fun on some more vertical maps with mobility build. The healing card instead wont work with mobility build. The biggest issue however is Skye, again I have been playing Surprise Attack since OB44 and unless there were 2 tanks it always worked better than Debilitate. The reason was that it gave Skye ranged poke that you cannot miss, because bonus is applied on hit rather than shot. Not only it was good against any supports and damagers, it helped a lot when dealing against flanks that can just fly away. I honestly dont find Debilitate much fun to play, and now it will be the only damage legendary left. Why in the world the Preparation was left instead? The smoke mechanics was good, it just lacked any explanation in game, and the new stealth renewal mechanic on smoke wont work in higher levels, while will cause even more murder in lower levels. Just so you know, Surprise Attack is applied on Hidden, not Stealth in general, so unlike what you said it would still work the same. Then there is cheap Illuminate for everyone without penalty of not having damage reduction, which previously allowed Skye to be remotely usable against it. To be honest I had enough of constant big changes, even when I agree with them. I had enough that as a fpp shooter player I cant polish my play to the sharpest, because I constantly have to adapt to something. I had enough of losing any fun way to play that I find and that keeps me playing the game. I will try 2.01, but if I find any as good fpp to move to, I just may.

Barik has a smaller hitbox compared to the other tanks. all the tanks in the game currently only has a max of 650 per shot. so he doesnt really need it. he could use some reduced damage fall off tho (imo at least) He needs a buff on his other 2 talent, (now that hair trigger is removed). coz the other two is just brain dead. it doesn't add diversity nor require additional skill to play it. His turrets are there more for like his self-sustain. Barik also needs some love in his loadout kit. the last time there was any change to him was in OB68.

You should constantly move in the Air even if its slow so you arent an easy to hit target.

I still think that Maeve needs some more buffs. Increase her damage to 425 or give her back the movement speed. And lower her HP to 1.8K as well. The old Maeve was way more enjoyable to play than the current one.

Ive seen all the changes on the official Paladins side and IDK how to think about the Update. Some things are cool but some problematic. For Example they nerfed Androxus and thats a good thing (Flanks shouldnt be allowed to melt down tanks) but they take away Efflorescence from Grover or Just Breathe from Cassie? Cassie hasnt got bad Talents so this wont be a big loss even if Players that used just Breathe are kicked in the Butt right now but removing an ability that leads to better heal on a Healer? Was Grover so OP that you have to remove it? I first thought they removed the Lvl 2 legendary Card cauz its efflorescence in shitty but no. As a grover main I shouldnt rage cauz the blossom range gets buffed as a mainkit thing so all in all he is pulled to a more Healer/DMG Hybrid role which suits him very good.

Ok so I've watched both patch note videos and I'm not sure what hi rex is thinking...they are reliving every wrecker type skill and cauterize type skill from the game which is goin to shift the meta towards unkillable tanks in every match...its not a good idea

i still think they need to balance and change some champions, strix as a sniper shouldnt have a stealth like he is a sniper, zhin still has 3 potential escape tools, term didnt get changes he needs to be viable again, viktor still has toxic talents and he is still annoying and op for how easy he is, tyra is gonna 3 times as annoying with her fire grenade. Ying lost that useful talent for healing more people with her illusions, willo also lost that unique and cool talent and the added 4th one thats so dumb and uncreative remains -.-. overall i would have to say im not that happy with the changes. at least we will be able to buy multyple items in games ( heaven etc... ). Cauterize still needs a nerf imo like its so dumb when its 90% and your healer heals you for 80 hp especially in a burst meta.
