She healed so good 400k in less than 20 minutes is crazy but it feels like a heal bot, only 10k damage is very low, i think Rei played better despite losing

It’s just how Rei plays, she has no choice but to deal damage to proc her CD reset card all the time. Rei has like 2-3 seconds downtime on her autoaim healing, Ying has like one second CD and her LE heal needs to be aimed. Rei has to deal damage to heal, Ying has to fully dedicate to healing. Neither of them did a bad job and both played their roles properly as reflected in stats and credit scores. Rei’s team failed because of Grohk

Which means you are not as dedicated to healing because time cost for her dmg shot=her heal shot, you either give up 1 of them especially in intense games you'd deploy clones and looking at teammates in between, and very often you don't get to even finish reload animation because it'd be interrupted by LE shots all the time.

As a Ying main I will say that there's so much more they could be doing than just being a heal bot basically the entire match and just sitting in the backline all game. This is nowhere near what a proclaimed "BEST YING" looks like at pique performance and displaying excellent use of her kit. A dumb high healing number means nothing with how good a support player is or not. You can do so much with Ying's movement ability if you learn to use it properly and learn good illusion placement. There's also really good tech you can use with her ult with being able to use it right outside of spawn to get you right back into a point fight by teleporting, teleport back into spawn to buy items briefly and teleport back out, etc. There's so much tech with Ying that most people don't really know about or really bother to learn. Also, Ying does not need a nerf, she is not a low skill floor support, and she's high ceiling if you really learn what she is able to do. Not just anyone can play and pick up Ying and play her and be proficient compared to some other supports that are much lower skill floor without being a straight up heal bot. I think that she needed a buff more to her illusions and not really her ult giving true healing like it does now because of players who will just heal bot like this, it just makes Ying players who really appreciate this champion's kit and use it to its fullest potential look bad prior to what they've decided to do with her ult. All they needed to do was reduce illusion's cooldown and making a 3rd illusion more viable to have, even with card investment right now it's just not feasible to build around it. She really didn't need much. Also, Chronos as an item more often than not is not a great item pick for Ying if you're running Brittle 5 on Life Exchange. It used to be more mandatory prior to the -1s CD Shatter buff. Higher Encouragement investment is much nicer for extra burst heals even if it's just a single extra level of investment. It's just all around better while being put into other items that you need. You can still pick it up Chronos, but I wouldn't be prioritizing it like that even before Morale 3.

Yes finally who agrees with me. She doesn’t need nerfs and I think she’s fine where she is at now as her healing makes up for her dmg in a way. People don’t get that Lilith and rei exist, they can do so much more than ying can imo. I’m a support main so I play all supports and ying is definitely a more complex character than characters like rei, IO, or seris.

As a ying main I do agree on people do not utilise her teleportation to its fullest, I personally like to use it while spamming few extra LE shots in between to burst up healing by replenishing all clones in 2 to 4 sec-ish, or dive to LE heal flank while leaving extra clones teleporting in&out as heal station. But LE ying sitting at backline has no problem, it's a safe style for a talent that basically strips all her dmg considering now time cost for her dmg shot= a LE shot, you gotta choose which to give up, and no reason mingling further front if a ying decides not doing dmg. I do not get Chronos either especially with the latest item shop.
