PALAMPUR: This Quaint Town in Himachal Pradesh Is Perfect For a Peaceful Vacation
I've shared multiple weekend getaways in the past but it's time for something special. Now it's tough to answer what took me so long to visit Palampur but just like most all of us, I would confess that I overlooked this tea town of Himachal Pradesh until very recently. A small town situated in the Kangra Valley of Himachal, Palampur is often referred to as the Tea Capital of Northwest India. However, the mountain town is much beyond its tea gardens and is a place that has somehow managed to save itself from excessive tourism, making it the ideal place to explore Himachal and its rich culture.
It is equidistant from both Mcleodganj (on one side) and Bir (on the other). The famous pottery school at Andretta is also close by. So it's an all season destination where one can spend a leisurely vacation just retiring in the lap of nature.
I was hosted by Lamrin Resorts at their boutique villas Lamrin Norwood Green. Located at the Bundla Tea Estate these villas are a feast for your senses. Palampur is certainly a hidden jewel. I visited Palampur on a solo trip in 2016. Simply beautiful... Perfect mountain escape away from the hustle👍

Love the way have showcased this side of Palampur. Yes Its Underrated and that is why it has preserved its beauty till now from other tourist places like Dharamshala which is now almost became a concrete jungle. The destination is awesome.....and the way presented it is awesome.....Abhishake you really inspire to live the life.... There are soo many channels showing foreign destinations but you really are promoting indian tourisim.... I also request you as you inspire soo many people to take care of mountains and seas... and don't pollute them... they should take care of the nature in every aspect of there visit....
