Palanquin Bearers is a musical poem composed by Sarojini Naidu, a famous Indian poet and political activist. It depicts the happiness of the palanquin bearers as they carry the bride effortlessly and harmoniously. This short poem (only 2 stanzas of 6 lines each) depicts strong kinesthetic imagery and imagination.
