6:39 Filipinos eat rice with “ulam”, which means side dish, or a main dish... we never eat rice by itself or just with pepper/vinegar sauce. So for example: rice + lechon, or rice + sisig, or rice + pinakbet (the veggies you ordered).

At least you have experience the hassle of travelling in the PH, the airports, roads, etc. As a local, it is frustrating for us. We are aware our neighboring countries have superior hard facilities. But there is hope as Cebu will be inaugurating a new Terminal 2 in June 2018 and when that opens, that terminal you used will be renovated so it will be at par. PH is now in a construction frenzy of airports, roads, bridges (and i think, seaports) etc as we are trying to catch up with the rest of the region in terms of infrastructure. Hoping in 5-10 years the travel experience will be much much better.

In every airport there's always a terminal fee. In other countries, terminal fees are already included in the tickets when you purchase them. In the Philippines, however, it is not included in the ticket, so all passengers have to pay for it separately, P300 for domestic passengers and P750 for international flights. I can't understand why the government can't allow airlines to include it in the ticket.

Nah, the ants will just come back. There’s a lot of ant’s nests in the philippines so it’s not gonna stop ’em to go into houses. It’s quite normal to have them in the Philippinnes but you just have to not keep anything sweet nor any food in the open or else they’ll come for it.

Here's a neat trick if you dont want ants on your camera or drinks... use a piece of paper draw a square using a permanent market... place the object you want protected from the ants inside that square. Ants are all about scent and they wont go near the scent of permanent markers.
