It has effected me deeply throughout my life but I want the world to know that no matter what you’re going through, if I can make it out on the other side, so can you.” -Remington Leith That's what Remington said to this song, just wanted to leave it here He started to wear make up because he thought if he would look like a other person he'd become a different person and his father would accept him. His father wasn't a good parent and they also changed their band name from Kropp Circle (their last name) to Palaye Royale and go by their middle names to distance themselves from their father Remington directed this video btw

It is, the band is 3 brothers (Remington on vocals, Sebastian on guitar an Emerson on drums) and their father was abusive and left them when they were still little. It is probably one of their slowest songs though, check Nightmares or Tonight is the night I die for example :)

you should definitely check out their new record, if you want heavy songs maybe anxiety, nightmares or massacre the new american dream, but it's very difficult to put their music in a box because they experiment a lot and all the songs are very different!

Great react. I could see it really hit you. You are right. This one is slower, super personal, his true story. “Anxiety” may be more what you are expecting. The video is on hold because of what is going in in the US - they’re being very conscientious about the situation. It was due on Monday, but I expected they’ll release it next week. “Nervous Breakdown” and “F*cking with My Head” both have videos that rock. They also hide messages in their videos and are telling a long-game story. “Massacre the American Dream” is another tough one, but has that scream metal component you correctly anticipated. My favorite video so far (other than Lonely) from this album is “Hang on to Yourself,” but it is more pop rock than the others, very Adam Ant vibes on the look of the video. More melodic are “You’ll Be Fine,” “Mr. Doctor Man,” and “Dying in a Hot Tube.” They are also from an earlier album. My favorite is “You’ll Be Fine.”

great reaction - it’s one of my go to songs when i need to cry (along with redeemer) and i think it would really be worth reading the lyrics if you get a chance because i know it’s hard to catch then when you’re first listening to a song but it’s a really well written song. also anxiety, massacre the new american dream, fucking with my head (and maybe nervous breakdown) are some of their ‘heavier’ stuff which i think you’d like. but honestly you could pick any song from their newest album ‘the bastards’ or their older albums ‘boom boom room’ (side a and b) and you’d love it - i’m not just saying that because i am a fan but all their songs are sooooo good. it’s taken them quite a long time to start getting more recognition in the industry but i think at this moment of time (+ the release of their new album) they’re finally getting bigger and i’m so proud of them. also idk if you do album reactions but reaction of ‘the bastards’ start to end would be awesome because there isn’t a single bad song (and it’s a sort of concept album so it tells a story) + i’m sure plenty of palaye fans (the rc) would appreciate it.

@@Roguenjosh he has this new girlfriend, I don't know her name (I forgot it it) but they've been dating. There are rumors about her being racist, homophobe, sexist, transphobe etc. She posts mean things and she's a sex trafficker or something, they sey that she is using remington for his fame. Which I believe, I heard there was this other boyfriend of her who was not that famous, I have no idea who but she dumped him and switched to remington. She doesn't even like him, once on a live stream Rem tried to kiss her but she pinched him and said: 'were on live' which means she doesn't care about him at all. She says she's into girls etc (which is a lie), so instead of apologising she's telling lies for example: I never hated gay people. Rem is blocking fans who wanna help him, people say he has been using drugs. Which I also believe, I don't know exactly everything but he has also been posting a video with him waving to the camera and saying: 'on my way to cause drama!' Which means he probably knows the situation, he knows his fans are hurt a lot by him doing this, he still doesn't do anything. Emerson (drummer/youngest brother) has been unfollowing his girlfriend and so did Shy (emerson's girlfriend) I dont know if Sebastian (guitarist and big brother) and Emerson are going to do anything, but as far as I know emerson and shy unfollowed her, listening to the music of them makes it a bit sadder, It makes me think about the situation. I hope this is just a one-time phase that'll never happen again!

Keep em coming, this song was a bit not to my taste. Still enjoyed video. Can I suggest clutch for your own listening pleasure, they just done an iso concert from the doom saloon(their practice studio) they charged $9 and had 3 support acts. Fantastic concert for fans but I would suggest starting with albums rather than singles, earth rocker and psychic warfare are my 2 favourites.
