On 14 February 1990, the Voyager 1 probe turned around to take one last photograph, as it was now too far from any object to use its cameras effectively.
It took a family photo of the Solar System, with the Earth as a pale blue pixel in the middle of a beam of sunlight.
Carl Sagan, a renowned American populariser of science, published a book in 1994, in which he shared this prose summarising a philosophical vision of this photograph.
I thought I'd read it to you in French, not without a certain melancholy.
