In Chapter 1 of the book Early Writings, Ellen Gould White, worshipping in her family alter, is shown a vision of a small company journeying towards eternity, guided by a Little Light. As the journey advances, it gets tougher. Thorns and thistles increase, the path grows narrower, many other setback emerge and many lose their faith and give up because they failed to fix their eyes on the Light. This vision depicts the Christian journey to Heaven. The Light is Jesus Christ who is the Faithful Guide. We must fix our sight on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, if we are to remain in the journey.
As the chorus goes,
