Dark, ethereal, haunting blast of a song. Shoegaze/dream pop is fantastic when it's heavy. Also, this might be an influence on Failure's "Small Crimes", especially at the end.

Just about every single album that was classed as shoegaze has dated badly, except this. I've loved it since the first time I heard it, and I love it still

whilst I respect your opinion, and it was all an awfully long time ago now, i would have to disagree. I think this whole genre was way ahead of its time. it should've come out in the 2000's post - Britpop; there was definitely room for this stuff then. i think the production and mixing skills of Alan Moulder, Hugh Jones, Robin Guthrie made these records sound incredible
