Hey guys, FYI this is not the main show of SARO at Paléo. This is a "concert sauvage", a 30 minutes surprise showcase in the afternoon, on the festival field (not a real stage). People receive the info 15 minutes before the showcase. Also, it's the afternoon, people are just arriving and chilling. SARO played later on a real stage in front of 3000 people Believe us, it was a totally different game! Unfortunately, we don't have the broadcasting rights for the gig.

The reason IMO for why it's not ultra popular is simply because in the past not many beatboxers did original stuff, it was all covers or if it was original there wasn't enough musicality. You can not make a name for yourself if all you do is covers, now granted in recent years it has gotten quite original and musical now all it takes is to push it out to the masses which will take a long ass time, and that's not even a guarantee. Saro probably has the most potential to make a name for himself out of all the loopers if that means anything

If you read the above comments, this is a random/sporadic concert he did- not the main show. It was messaged out to people 15 minutes before it happened and so there isn't a big crowd because of that. His actual concert had 3000 people at it, but the people who posted this video didn't have the rights to post that video (aka broadcast rights). I think it's increasingly popular these days. Maybe beatboxing & looping is still becoming popular but the fact that 3000 people showed up to his main concert at this event is pretty sweet and showing that it is getting popular.

I'm french. It's possible for me to talk with you in English. As mustapha Moussa Bouth said, I appreciate both Saro and MB 14. My opinion, Saro is the god of the loopstation. He is the only one to find such incredible sounds. I am a fan and if he does a concert in my area, I'll go see him immediately. But MB 14 is just as important because, for me, it's more complete artist. He does hip hop, pop music, reggae, classical music,... and he has the most beautiful voice among all beatboxers. He has a musical sensibility that touches me. Last thing I like about MB 14, he has a battle spirit and he makes me laugh when he talks about his opponent in his rounds. In short, Saro and MB 14 are references in beatbox loopstation universe.
