Either that, or it's some kind of disliking troll bot. I'm seeing one dislike on a lot of videos. Even videos that are months or years old.

I think some people always had dreams or plans to actually start making music and they just jealous when someone is doing it with such great results. They have goosebumps but they gonna hit dislike anyway.

A prehistoric journey from before civilization made it's mark on the world. Archaic drums echo through the riparian forests. Thick smoke from bonfires snake their way over charred and painted skulls, the spoils of war from opposing tribes. Distant sounds of the forest paints the canvas of a world untouched by modern man. The paleolithic shamans chant powerful over the tribal drums as ancient man rises from prey to predator. The night is young and the feral hunt is about to begin. Agreed. It reminded me of something from William Hope Hodgson's novel The Night Land. Although that's almost certainly not what Paleowolf were going for.

I do most of my hunting and gathering at Food Basics, with the occasional trip into the Greenbelt to gather berries at a defunct farm. There's wild apples there too, but they seem to be a cider apple rather than an eating apple. Sometimes I see deer eating the apples but I don't hunt the deer because I don't have a licence and I wouldn't be able to carry it home with me anyway...but if I did, I'd have a cache of meat for the winter, and if I had a cider press I'd be drunk half the time!

@@pohjantuulet247 A good point...and I see you are a fan of the skunk bear (Gulo gulo) and have some familiarity with Finnish mythology. My husband was a Finn and he had an affinity for wolverines and cats. I miss him.

@sarahgray4306 жыл бұрын
@@pohjantuulet247 he was the son of two Finns who emigrated to Canada after WWII. His father was a Cuckoo who later became a master jeweller and watchmaker who taught him these same skills but he also worked a lot of odd jobs especially when he hitched out to British Columbia and back in the early 1970s. It was when he was living in British Columbia that a wolverine came out of the woods and ate his dinner off the plate that was sitting on his lap then wandered back into the woods like it didn't give a rat's ass about anything. You've just got to admire a creature that bold...even grizzlies are afraid of them!

@@sarahgray430 Sounds like an interesting tale. Ive always wanted to visit either Canada or Alaska myself as well, Both places are worth the visit in my opinion. And yeah, many finns migrated to Canada and America in the past. Most People moved either to Minnesota US or Canada. And what ive heard, Finns came in pretty good contact with the Native americans, since the cultural differences between them wasnt too great. Both groups Loved nature, we had shamanistic understanding to nature and life, both had a sense of sweat rooms or Sauna as we like to call them, and both liked to drink as equally. As for the wolverines, my interest in them runs originally through the family. It originates from my Last name, and has Been the symbol of my family since our present family originally began well over a century ago in the lost regions of Karelian Isthmus. But i too have Come in contact with a live Wolverine. It was during our trip Lapland, back when i was only around 11 years old. I remember i woke up one night, after everyone had Fallen asleep. I felt like i needed to go for a leak, and i put on my boots and a hoodie, since i was only going outside for a small bit i thought i didnt need much clothing, even though it was mid Winter and it was well over -45 degrees celsius outside. Before i headed outside, i grapped the flashlight to see better in the dark, though the Northern lights gave a good bit of Lighting. On the halfway to the outhouse, i stopped when i started hearing sounds, that i could only describe as Snarling mixed with Grunts. I turned around to look towards the sound, and i couldnt see exactly what it was. It was then when i turned my flashlight on, that i saw a Wolverine standing at the edge of our Cabin. We had about 5 meters of distance. And for some reason, i wasnt exactly scared neither. I was surprised, but not startled. We looked at eachother for a good few minutes, without neither of us doing anything, until it decided to turn around and leaped away into the wild of Karigasniemi.

Love your videos! I myself have been wanting to make some ambient music but other than crappily combing other peoples' instruments and singing into a sony vegas idk much on how to do so and then maybe slightly raising the bass or volume via audacity. What program do you use and how do you get these sounds? Do you record them yourself from your own instruments?

This the soundscape of the darkest times of Atlantis, just before the great flood. These times are what JRR Tolkien wrote about in Lord of the Rings, the time before the age of men. It is called the Before Time. This musical genre is re-emerging now because it is the end of The Age of Men, which will be consumed in fire by a micronova from our sun. A similar micronova 12,900 years ago melted the ice caps causing the Great Flood. Some big events recapitulate in long cycles of time. Good music!
