Very well documented about the buildings. About the dollar there is a quotation of the ideal value that the Argentine state gives to this money, and there is the blue value, which is what people value this currency. If you change in WU you get less pesos than changing it in agencies that change the blue dollar.

I also enjoyed your inside info about the culture that you experienced. So sad that Argentina just elected a Trump-like new leader! I guess history shows that when inflation and the economy are terrible, people tend to elect authoritarian leaders. Very regretful.... Anyway, cool video!

Card is almost the exaxt same rate as blue now thankfully, or rather the difference is negligible, so it isnt worth the effort changing tonnes of cash You dont pay tax on the visa rate with a foreign card

I felt the same when I was younger but then I realized in never said I was repúblicargentina or that my friend was repúblicaorientaldeluruguaya. They kind if have the right to call themselves America/American 🤷‍♀️
