Palermo, Sicily - If we had to sum up this city in one word, it would be VIBRANT! As Italy's capital of culture, it’s no wonder why Palermo bursts with life. This energetic Sicilian capital is rich in history, culture, art, music, and gastronomy, all of which have shaped its identity throughout the centuries.

Palermo is great. I was there for around 2 months last year. The cathedral and churches are magnificent. The farmers market you went to was it organic produce? What was it called? Where is it situated as I didn't come across it when I was there. Great video. Thank you 😊💕

@alc4967 Hello Tortonto! 👋 We are happy to hear that you are enjoying our channel. Sicilians love nature and growing their own food, so I am not surprised your family had farmers in family too. One day we will be visiting Salemi too as these days we hear more and more about it. Thank you for following our journey ❤️ Warm regards from Sicily

You know the UK and probably how Farmers Markets there are generally very expensive and therefore elitist, similar in other Northern European countries. Is this the same in Sicily? Or is the produce affordable for “normal” folks?

I have to say most of the farmers' markets are not expensive. This was based in a rich area of Palermo and, therefore, was more expensive.

Maybe you could store tables, chairs. etc. in Palermo if someone has spare space in garage or at home somewhere. Looks like a great place to sell your harvests.
