Palestine Sunbird | John Spillane

I wrote this song Palestine Sunbird in response to the unfolding genocide in Gaza. Like so many others I've been shocked to the core by the slaughter of innocent men women and children and the relentless violence against the Palestinian people since the foundation of the state of Israel.
The Palestine Sunbird was declared the national bird of Palestine in 2015 after the Israeli occupation authorities tried to change it's name in their efforts to erase Palestinian identity.
