It's incredible how kids will do that. I've had to do medical stuff where I'm afraid, & my little girl, 5 now but younger at the time - would rub my back or arm & say, "it's okay mommy." When I'm more upset, she takes over & comforts me because that's what I do when she's the one that's upset. So, I'd guess this mother has been kind & gentle to her daughter & has supported her through hard times, & that's where the daughter learned it. It's HORRIFIC that this is the situation she has to use that skill in, though.

Later, in another photo, we can see images of one of those supposedly dead people pulling other "dead" people out of the rubble. As well, a claim that a rocket had destroyed an ambulance was proven false when the hole in the roof was shown to be where the siren goes. Remember: "Truth is always the first casualty of war."
