Golda Meir said many wise thing ..and also told the truth, the arabs didn't like! “It was not as if there was a Palestinian people in Palestine and we came and threw them out and took their country away from them. They did not exist.” “We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.” The conflict today, is manly suffering from the overwhelming ignorance of the actual historical facts of the past!

As an Arab Israeli, it makes me sad seeing this! I never faced any discrimination for being an Arab, I finished my Bachelor’s degree along side fellow Jewish students, we work in the same companies, we have mixed cities and neighborhoods, and we as Arabs are not obligated to serve in the army, and yet we get the same rights as Jews! For all of those who claim Israel to be an apartheid state are full of shit! We Arab and Jews should live together and we can make this country even better!

The Palestinian people did not have a problem with Israelis coming from abroad until they took over control of land and the government and kicked close to a million out of their homes making them refugees (the Nakba in 1948-the big catastrophe). Illegal settlements are documented by all Human rights organizations-Jews can walk into any Palestinian home and move in. The Israelis don't want to give them peace, they want all their land because of their superstition that it's their on the basis of belonging to a religion, which is absurd. This is the West Bank, how on earth do you think the people in the West Bank who have been born and raised in Israeli occupation and oppression want to live with the Israelis controlling their lives? They live in conditions in many ways worse that apartheid South Africa was for black South Africans.

It could just as well if not more reasonably interpreted as "Israel proper remains as it is, but Israelis and Palestinians share the West Bank". I think many of them thought that they would have to share their land in the West Bank for peace and that's all. Maybe if the question was: what if the whole territory of current Israel + Gaza + The West Bank was shared for peace? The answers would be very different. Anyways, in general, I think Arabs don't trust Israelis. Look what happened to the areas that are under Israeli control: Gaza has a blockade since 2007 and the West Bank has hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers that came illegally, get almost all the water and have lots of privileges...as an Apartheid state. How can you negotiate with such kind of people? Nevertheless, I truly believe peace is possible for Israelis and Palestinians.

I think if you asked them, "Let's say the Palestinians were in control of the land, but it was run by Palestinian Christians. Would that be acceptable to you?" the answer would be the same. The land must not only be under Palestinian control, but Muslim control. Once a land is under Muslim control, it must remain under Muslim control forever. What most of them failed to realise is that it wasn't always ruled by Muslims / Arabs. The Islamic rule they're referring to came with the conquests after most of the Jews had been displaced by the Romans and a few other conquests. There's also the fact that they didn't all return from Russia and Poland. 70% of Israelis are actually from Arab lands - currently 20% Arab Muslim population and over 50% actually returned from North Africa and Middle East after they were expelled from Morocco, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Bahrain, Syria... Netanyahu himself was born there. So, it's delusional to expect them to leave - leave to where?

This is why the people in Gaza are not indigenous to the land and actually migrated over the centuries. The Caanites and Philistines ruled before them. This is proven. I find it odd when they say “it’s our land” when a large percentage of Palestinians (not all) descend from Arabs who emigrated from other Arab countries in the last century. Case in point Yasser Arafat who himself was born in Egypt. There’s a lot of Palestinians who were there for centuries as well but most of them as well descend from the Arab empires that colonized before the ottomans. How far back is far enough to have a claim on the land? That being said as a religion Islam has always seen military conquest as a legitimate form of land annexation. Case in point when Mohammed raised an army and conquered Mecca and Medina. Or when they first conquered Jerusalem. If that’s the case they even if it was their land first wouldn’t Israel winning every war and annexing the land be a legitimate claim to the land based on their own history? Moreover historically Arabs aren’t indigenous to the Levant or North Africa. They all come from the Arabian Peninsula. The fact that there’s Arabs in all these places comes from centuries of military expansion from Arabic Empires

The only place they fled was Iraq and that was due to the Faroud of Baghdad in 1941 where Zionists planted bombs in the communities to scare the Jews and make them feel under attack to get them to migrate. This is well documented. Yemen, Egypt , Morocco, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon etc ...... never ever kicked out any Jews they willingly left because they were promised better lives in Israel . My own grandmother from Fez can contest to this. Also they treated the mizrachi like total shit when they came. Housed 4-5 families in 1 tent. You don’t have the slightest clue...... to say they were expelled and their homes taken is a lie and only proves you know very little and just repeating what you hear VS what you study and actually learned. So if we can agree that from 1 Arab Muslim country they didn’t flee and left on their own accord then what’s stopping them from doing the same in Syria, Yemen, Tunisia etc..... those countries were not financially stable ever and of course the Arab Jews were promised better lives in the new Jewish state. To say that Arab nations expelled the Jews from their lands in retaliation to what happened to the Palestinians is also a lie. Palestinians to this day are treated like shit in neighboring Arab countries and denied many rights. The Egyptians want nothing to do with them. The Emiratis sure as hell want nothing to do with them and they are very vocal about it. The only help the Palestinians ever got from the Arab nations was in 1948. See if you actually knew the history , You would know that 6 months prior 1948 already half of the Palestinians were expelled by the Hagana, Irgun and Stern gangs. Arabs didn’t just invade once Israel was declared a state because they were Jews . The months prior to 1948 Plan Dalet ( Plan D) was in full swing . Plan Dalet was Ben Gurions plan to expel the Palestinians to create a Jewish state and become the majority. The influx of Palestinians fleeing into other Arab nations created a lot of tension and the people were putting immense pressure on their leaders to do something about it. Between all the countries that invaded to help the Palestinians there was only 40k soldiers and they had the worst coordination and no where near the level of ammunition Israel had. Israel had 100k soldiers in that war with way better equipment to do the job and training from the British who also armed them. The last help the Palestinians would want from Arab nations is to expel arabs Jews from Arab lands to populate Palestine. The only people who are gaining from this are the Zionists. Why would you send more Jews to your enemy to populate them if you are trying to fight and liberate the land . Use your brain for half a fucken second. By the way all this information is public records that the British released from their archive on what happened in Mandate Palestine before 1948 and after. It’s clear as day that Plan Dalet was the master plan to clear out the Palestinians for Jewish immigrants. It’s not secret and the war in 1948 was to save the Palestinians from this mass expulsions. Only a moron with 2 brain cells left would believe the Israeli narrative. I wouldn’t trust an Israeli opinion if my life depended on it. This only because I know very well Israeli mentality and how racist Israel really is. I would take anything an Israeli says about 1948 with a huge fucking grain of salt .

Govern? I think that is a bit of rich statement. I'd be interested to know how the people (all the people) lived 100 years ago. How was it then? Was it chaos? Did they live in relative harmony? Who ruled? But to say they can't govern themselves under the divided and oppressive natured that the Israeli government forces them to live under? Come on. I am pretty sure they would and could eventually manage. Might take a long time to sort out the issues. Would you apply your statement to South Africa? It is the exact same situation.

I love the narrative "it's out country" when the name "palestinian" was LITERALLY a name meant as an insult to the jews who inhabited it BEFORE the arabs (give by the Roman empire). It is a biblical reference to the philistines who were invaders and occupiers who stole the land from the JEWS. Their own SELF-IDENTIFIED name is a historical reference to the Jewish predecessors to the land. Not to mention, their holy mosque is built ON TOP of the Jewish temple... tell me which one came first?

Kingdoms & tribes, Abraham fought won back his family & paid for land. Didnt accept money or bribes from the kings of that time, etc. So, so long ago... God owns the land & humans occupy it for a short while. Ashame peace cant be created in their hearts. I dont understand this conflict but I believe the bible & that natural law is written on everyones heart. This was pretty interesting and it gets into a larger question of who has a right to be in a place. There are many countries in the world where the original inhabitants or the descendants are not from that place. Look at the US, Canada, South America, Pacific island countries. Then there are other places that have been forcefully taken like Tibet or Kurdistan. So, when there are competing claims to the same land, you can either agree to find a settlement and achieve some type of peace or just accept perpetual war and conflict and suffering.

The Palextinians you're sharing the land of your country with, didn't come with an army claiming sovereignty. They have been accepted as immigrants according to your sovereign law (except for the illegal that are not that many in Sweeden especially among the Palextinians) Jexs from arxbic countries: their exodus started after the Jionists expelled the Palextinians. The main reason of their departure was simply following the departure of the colonizers (French, British or Italian). Colonizers aculturated minorities (not only jexs) making them incompatible to work in a post colonial independant arxbic state. Many left for France, Italy.... Also, Jexish Agency, Betar, Hashoner Hatzair... were actively pressuring jexs from the arxbic world to leave for Ixrael because their main mission is to bring as many Jexs as they could to reverse the so crucial demographic balance in favor of the jexs in Palextine. They were targeting fragile people promising them a wonderful futur in Ixrael... (actually most wealthy educated jexs preferred to go to US, France...) The rise of anti-Jionism after the creation of a Ixrael or during the 67 war also contributed to their departure. This is not to ignore existing arxbic antixemitism. These reasons varied from one country to another. My personal opinion is, if a global solution should be seriously and sincerely discussed, the question of jexs from Arxbic countries should be put on the table. By the way, some jexs, suied fraudulous property transfers and got them back (at least in Tunisia)
