I LOVE how you decorated this cake!! I do have a question….. I have to make a small 2 tier cake for a wedding in a couple weeks. The top tier has a white buttercream and the bottom tier is a cinnamon buttercream so it has specks of cinnamon throughout it and the color is more of a beige. The bride wants simple and rustic with some palette knife flowers and pretty monochromatic, with some bits of gold leaf here and there. Since the buttercreams are not the same color on each tier, I was thinking of sort of combining them a bit to paint the flowers and maybe mixing in a tiny bit of rust color (main color in her dresses, etc.) to add something. I don’t know how that will look, though. Any thoughts?? This is my first wedding cake, so I’m a bit nervous. 😬
