I abaolutely LOVE The Middle..I had seen where they were going to do a spinoff with Sue and Brad but it got the boot in the fall line up. I hope they revisit this idea. This whole family could comeback forever.. I think so many can relate to the day to day stuff and how perfectly adequate the parental unit is...just so real. I keep the show running on loop on IMDB thank goodness for that stream...the only one running the Middle!

An hour before i watched the final episode of the middle... Its so sad that 9 years.. It has ended i wish it would go on for ever.. I Cried a lot today..i just loved this show

I really love 'The Middle', and this cast so much! I just don't know why 'Modern Family' gets all the critics' praise. MF is a good show; I am not putting it down in any way, but right from the beginning I could take or leave the show. Whereas with The Middle, I was hooked right away with everything the series portrays. I just think 'The Middle' deserves some recognition. I never want to miss an episode, and seldom have over the last 3 seasons. Quirky, Colourful, Loving, Relatable, Hilarious .

heavenlygal101 Modern Family gets all the praise because it is more sophisticated and intelligent humor. Modern Family is more well written and isn't just the basic humor that is in many other sit coms nowadays. MF is one of the shows that help define a decade. The Middle is a good show and I enjoy watching it which I have since the first episode, but it isn't as good as Modern Family

Because it wasn't that long after Malcom in the middle ended and it's the same show pretty much. Just the main child swapped genders and there's no 4th older chil popping up occasionally. The casting is all the same looking and sounding people. It was like beating a dead horse when it came out.

don't forget about aunt edie or the beagle with the oxygen mask on. my sister and boyfriend think it is stupid. but my boyfriend is blind literally really blind so he can only hear but not watch like the stupid ass stuff sue does. she really reminds me of Kramer on Seinfeld because she is just so clutsy. I do things like that all of the time. we stopped going to the emergency room a long time ago. we just like treat our injuries at home.
