i wonder if is still viable to do this by fishing with normal worms in the house pond and cooking the fish stew?

You can still do this! When doing the new lvl 4 Shepp Ceremony at the mayors house you can still fish the pond. You can return home via the map and then talk to eshe again to go back to the ceremony as long as you never talk to her when you are inside the cermony ( ie do not complete the quest). I have been doing this all day today and have 600+ mottled gobi so far...

I have another tip for you - you can fish at the ruins behind the phoenix shrine - the quest that gives you the glider. The fish there are the same as the Bahari mines - lots more room though.

I also wanted to add that for anyone looking to catch the ultra rare Giant Goldfish, I caught mine on my housing plot at night using a glow worm. It took about 15-20 tries before I finally caught it.

Goldfish can be fished up from any pond. Grats though you were very lucky to get it so quickly

There's another use for this bug that you can also benefit from besides profit. If you have a rice farm you can turn this fish into sashimi, one fish turns into 3 sashimi and each sashimi (when you use this fish) when put in the glow worm box gives 3 glow worms and 15 harvest up fertilizers for a total of 9 glow worms and 45 harvest up per gobi per hour. This will help you stockpile glow worms at a faster rate before they fix the bug without needing to invest in too much glow worm boxes or waiting to get your initial glow worms.

I tried this but it's dependent on the value of the fish used in the recipe. I used the fish in the vid and they only spit out 1 for me. :(

One gobi turns into 3 sashimi and 1 sashimi in the glow worm box provides 3 glow worms effectively turning 1 gobi into 9 glow worms (and 45 harvest up fertilizer). This only works if the fish used was a glow worm fish, in this case the gobi, sashimi that is cooked with regular fish will still yield 1 glow worm each.

Sushi is from ponds using glow worm. Sashimi is from Bahari Bay rivers without using any worms, and the fish stew is from the Bahari Bay coast using a worm. I can't quite make a video on this subject cause I can't re-fish up the recipe, but each spot took less than 10 minutes to find for myself and everyone else I've asked.

Just wanted to share with you that if you press "H" on your housing tab and open new slot and lay down 8 storage boxes in the new housing slot it will give you double the storage on your default housing plot. I figured this out by accident and now have 6400 storage on my default. You can also add 3 of the locked storage boxes and double that storage as well. Make sure to craft your storage boxes before you switch tabs. Note that it will remove anyone you have allowed to your housing plot, so make sure to add them again once you return to your default. Thanks for sharing.

How do you get grilled fish to be worth 170g? It's only 43g usually.

Grilled fish will be worth the cost of the 2 fish used unless it's a quality craft and worth more. So, using 2x fish worth 85g each will make it 170g per grilled fish.

Grilled fish takes the values of the two fish and adds them together. You get a bit more if it is a quality craft.

It's against the TOS to exploit bugs, so yes, they can ban you for it. Just because they haven't banned anyone yet, doesn't mean they won't. In most mmos, bans happen massively for exploits after a maintenence in which accounts have been checked for exploitation. I'm hoping all the people who are doing this stuff because of youtubers saying it's OK don't get banned :/ I'm praying for the youtubers too, because I get that they have good intentions, but this can risk peoples accounts and their own and its just not a good idea. Been playing mmos for years and ban waves due to exploits are never fun to see.

If a game company MADE a pond where only one thing can be fished out of it, that's on them to fix. It's like getting angry at a dog if you drop a steak on the floor. If you open cheat engine and start cheating, sure, ban those players (They haven't.), but if the devs are at fault for a glitch that doesn't ruin the experience of others, and they ban for that? That's a bad dev / company and no one should play their games.
