In my mind, Marie is divorced less than a year later because she can’t stop thinking about Jen. Once the divorce is final, Marie runs off to Manila without having seen or spoken to Jen since the wedding. In Manila, Marie shows up at Jen’s apartment confessing her love for her. Jen confesses that she is the love of her life and that anything with anyone else just wasn’t right. The two begin their lives together. ❤
