Ive been a Pallbearer fan for almost 10 years now. The songs on this record epitomize my deepest connection for this band. A deep melancholy mached only by its melody. Great record
@CrazyCooter-ld6sz8 ай бұрын
Stop it. Every song is five minutes of sleep inducing nonsense. If you're going to make a sleepy record than do it. Adding some cool melodies or crunch for the last couple of minutes does not save a crappy song. Horrible boring vocal melodies. Please make it stop. Throw on some Witchskull or Spacelords for some real metal or space rock. No disrespect, to each his own but c'mon man.

This band has always been about emotional depth for me. And excellent melodies too but the strength of emotion is what places this band far above the lazy "weed bong satan" caricature that doom metal has been for years now. They are like the Emperor of doom metal. While every other black metal band painted their face and wore dollar store spikes and chains to their live shows, Emperor stuck with melody, songwriting, and ambience and made some of the best albums in the genres history. For this reason I think this band will be remembered way more than your average Dopethrone/Bongzilla/Satanworshipping doom copy. On the opposite end of the spectrum you have bands like Body Void, or Methdrinker, etc, just crushing for the sake of crushing, nihilistic to no end. And all these bands make great music, sure, but will they be remembered? Can you walk down the street and hum a Body Void song? No way bro. Pallbearer comes back with a true Foundations part 2 and kills it as usual. Absolutely love this band.
