I am so doing this! I have switched to "floor sleeping"- sleeping on the floor with just a mattress topper, but I'm so creeped out by the thought of bugs crawling in me- this design probably still really firm because of all the slats. Thanks for the video!

👋 Hi, I'm so glad I found this video!! I will build this bed in two weeks for my new apartment and am excited already. For my version I will modify it though and add 9 posts to make it a futon bed. I will tag you in the finished results! 🙌🏻

Personally, I would have created the pallets as two recangles, representing each half of the bed, and just slid them together. Trying to move that about when you move housr will be tough!

What lightweight & strong material do I need to make a Murphy style type bed with legs. It will be put in a campervan. 35" width by 72"? I don't plan on using any gas shocks either. It would be nice if the frame is around 50lbs or less. The mattress will be an additional 50lbs.

@@terribletwothreefours2656 My Cousin WOULD HAVE SURVIVED determined the physicians had he been wearing a helmet when a drunk driver hit him. Not wearing a helmet on a motocycle is literally playing Russian Roulette. So yeah Genius...Helmets SHOULD BE MANDATED ON MOTORCYCLES. BICYCLES?? No..THAT should be a personal choice! Then again..If not mandated by law...non helmet-wearing motorcycle drivers should be charged ASTRONOMICAL Insurance rates until the idiotic lunacy of being helmetless sinks in. So no maybe enforcing helmet use IS INDEED a loss of freedom.. I concede. HOWEVER, I am all for Utterly ridiculous Insurance rates and increased warnings being issued for helmetless Cycle riders until eventually it will be more of a pain in the ass by NOT wearing a helmet. Motorcycle owners that make the maniacal choice not to wear helmets must have a couple scresw loose and a deathwish as even Evil Fucking Keneval..as expert a rider as he was ....wasnt THAT good enough to ensure he could avoids an accixent at all times. Sooner or later the odds WILL catch up to most (ofcourse a minority of EXTREMELY LUCKY...SKILL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT...RIDERS will remain unscathed but definitely not the manority) Genuises that avoid helmets and bare skulls WILL hit concrete, road signs trees and whatever else. A quick death is all the best you can hope for...unless being a paraplegic and constant drooling with the thrill of learning how to read and write all over again in two or three years and multiple surguries with legs atrophied to the point of useless stick-like limbs serving no purpose anymore as you have no feeling from you neck or a little lower (if lucky) down. Sex?? Hope you have fond nemories..aint gonna happen.anymore. Now your just a burden to family and society. Those are the "lucky ones" its just as likely you'll be in a coma with the possibility of maybe pulling out it ..OR you could be brain dead..alive but in a vegetive state and a lucky family member gets to decide when to disconnect life support. But hey, if that is the risk you need to take to keep your right to no helmet at least you made your point and went out "YOUR WAY" because at the end of the day (and maybe your life) you stuck to your guns and maintained your edginess and badassery and commitment to NEVER wear a sissified, dorky helmet which is uncool. When you get in your accident..WHEN...most likely...not-" IF "..while"if" is technically possible it is about as likely as hitting lotto or getting struck by lightening...WHEN your accident comes you can at least take comfort in knowing that if you survive...you will not have to wear a helmet on your new set of wheels that you will be merged with and dependent on for life. But cool you have attitude and arrogance ...to the point of maintaining a Tripple H -like mentality of being "That Damn Good" on a bike instead of the ring. Good luck. Fools like you need it. Ofcourse you probably have the badass leather jacket and boots...foor looks ofcourse because pretty assanine to worry about getting scratched and bruised if you aint worried about brain damage. But at least you didnt go out like a wimpy "helmet wearer..." Because looking "Tough" and edgy and retainingl pride is worth death or becoming a gimp or an inbalivalid ANYTIME as opposed to being told to and having to wear a POTENTIAL LIFE-PROTECTING..helmet which would make you look like a dork of "Pottsie Webber"- like proportions!
