Pallet Wood Coffee Table

I saw this pallet and had to build something. so I added some reclaimed fence wood and rusted caster wheels.

This table is really well designed. Every piece is clearly labeled, kzbin.infoUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW and the instructions are perfectly displayed, so it's really hard to mess up the assembly. The hardware is likewise clearly labeled. If I had a power driver, assembly time would have been cut in half, but I didn't mind the light workout. My only qualm is that is that the lift top is wobbly in between its open and closed positions, but that's really a minor complaint. For the price, you really can't get much better than this, hence the five-star review. I use it primarily for my wireless mouse and keyboard so that I can use my PC from the couch. Storage is nice. I'm totally happy with this purchase.

Turned out badass! Hand drilling sux! A little tip, you may already know it, but if you drill a smaller pilot hole, 3/16" or so, you will be able to much more easily push the larger bit through. Some of that angle iron has some really hard mill scale on it and without the forces of a drill press, you will work harden and dull your drill bit very quickly. Again, not being critical... Awesome build, love it!

fantastic work if only you could find a pallet that perfect to start with and have a workshop like that. a bit disturbing that this guy doesnt wear a mask for any of the work which is not a good example.
