There is a saying.."Can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" but you prove it wrong by turning rough free materials into something of value and real use. Good job Robert, you inspire us do-it-yourselfers.

As a single mother, I'm renovating my little house by myself to save money, and I'm using wood from old furniture people put to the curb, as well as pallet wood and wood from old box springs. This is also where I get the nails, screws, hinges, and brackets, which would normally go to the county dump! This is a GREAT example of a project that looks attractive, and you have a sense of accomplishment when it is finished. I'm actually going to try this, using your pattern. Thank you!

I am over here in Northern Arizona in the United States. I am building my cabin from pallets too except I am out in the desert. You are a great inspiration, thank you for sharing!

Magic place where you are Robert. Watching the video we said "did you hear the cuckoo?" We had never heard a real cuckoo before. Your cabin is coming along and looking good.

My mother used to always use the quote "Necessity is the mother of invention." You take what you have and you work with it. I'm going to do that kitchen cabinet design. PS. Thanks before including the kitty. I always look for her when I watch your videos.

NICE!!!! You are so creative with pallets. I made an outside kitchen for my Dutch ovenstove out of pavingstones and a massive grindteil. and I had a big slate of marble to put to the back. So the heath of my stove won't damage the wall of my house. Used it yesterday for the first time. Gives a lot of heath that stove. My kitchen of the house is next to it so I don't need a waterbowl. So nice to cook outside. I hope to see you finishing the cabin. You did such a good job on your house at the Canary isles. Greetings from the Netherlands😉

I saw something similar, smaller not as well built, rickety, at our local farm store. For over a hundred dollars and no sink only a plastic tub. I thought, hum I could do that with pallets. But, not having much building experience or tools I have yet to try. This is perfect! I will be making this with what I have on hand. And I have the sink!

As always brilliant work and what I like the most is, and someone might say it looks ok, the the perfection lies in the simplicity of his work - hidden but it is their kinda magic. Stay safe Roberto as well as your folks and keep up the good work and that positive attitude, dude. Pace e esco fuori :-)
