This is so beautiful, setting up everything that led up to that confrontation on the rocks throughout the vid, building up all of their moments but also the things getting in their way, augh this is so well done! The pacing of this edit should be illegal, I mean 0:22 - 0:25 😉 and let me tell you that there are not many great edits of NLMG, but this one is so good and you even played so well with matching the scenes with the lyrics 0:38. They were really free with that kiss 0:52 letting themselves go even more for the first time, but this was just a taste of what was coming. The kisses here were amazing with the lyrics 0:57 - 1:02 and the way the beat dropped with this scene 1:18 and the transition here 1:45 after they were intimate was astounding and then how you showed how both relationships with their respective parents were so different 1:55 poor Palm. And then it’s Palm being hurt and frustrated 2:06, Palm breaking down after his mom death, Palm pushing Nueng because he didn’t think out of his pain and frustration for a moment, but regretted it immediately, and how Nueng wanted to hurt him back 2:09 2:21 because he was feeling so guilty because of what was happening, how he wanted to get away and not be part of Palm’s life anymore, but Palm didn’t want to lose him and didn’t let him go 2:31, but at the end the guilt consumed Nueng so he planned to get out of Palm’s life just because he wanted to protect him, just because he knows Palm deserves better than a life where he has to risk everything and everyone around and before leaving him, he made sure to comfort Palm with the utmost care 2:22, so the scene after with his “I don’t love you” was a lie after seeing those eyes looking at Palm. Nueng was selfless and left him, because he is afraid of losing another person who became so important to him, because he’s afraid to lose forever the boy he loves and I’m always going to think that he left the bracelet with Palm 2:13 because he’s hoping someday Palm will meet him again and put it on his wrists, that way they will be the complete sun again, that way he will know Palm never let him go 🥺
