WE WALK THE TALK....We don't do jamborees. My love for this best piece of earth called NIGERIA can't even allow me to come on national news to say what I don't know. Reach out if you want to inter crop. God bless. I am not a textbook person..... I'm 100% hands on..... Agribusiness, processing , packaging and export business. Complete package...

She is definitely right about the criminal agencies like Customs, NAFDAC, Immigration, and others that frustrate export and import processes for genuine Nigerian business people (especially Customs). These criminals needs to be gotten out of the way if Nigeria is to have any chance here!

Is there any initiative to give the South South part of Nigeria the palm tree to plant? My second question is the machinery available to do commercial farming.

The EU is willing to help with refining the crude before export, a win-win transaction. There's palm kernel too.

I think we should take the narratives from export of basic agricultural produce to export processed produce by adding value to the same.

We were actually created to feed the world with the best quality and tropical foods but we couldn't organise our society and know what we could do better since we don't have that gift of creating and manufacturing. I don't know why we sit back and japa to the people that doesn't carry our interest at heart, it's a pity.

Did she just advocate for deforestation 😂
@queenonyx7680
@queenonyx7680 4 күн бұрын
No....I didn't advocate for deforestation. I simply said we should take down the forages and plant palm trees. The trees will remain to give shade to the young seedlings. Nobody cuts trees in agriculture if you truly understand how things work.

Cut down "every available forest"? Wow. As the popular saying goes, when you give a child a hammer - everything becomes a nail. What a diabolical suggestion

@@eeywfob When you're cutting down forest for agriculture, you don't cut down valuable trees. Remember you're planting highly economical trees too.

It is obvious this woman is a textbook farmer especially where oil palm is concerned. How can she recommend planting palm tree in every available space. Does she know that lands where palm trees are cultivated are usually not very fertile for other plants? I am talking as someone who owns up to 5 hercters of oil palm plantation. i doubt if this woman owns an acre of oil palm plantation because she talks as someone who just reads these things from books without real world experience

I have a plantation and an oil mill sir. I equally export oil. It depends on the specie that you planted sir.

We all know that palm trees produce what's called in agriculture allelopathy which is the chemical some plants release in other not to allow other plants grow around them, they inhibit growth. Remember that certain species of palm don't produce it. Legumes,herbs,spices and species of chilli pepper survive with palm trees (seedlings). Like I said we have plantations that attest to this. Thanks

Forest is good for the environment. Why would anyone with any form of knowledge suggest that the problem of insecurity is to take off all forest? We don't need these kinds of people on TV in Africa.
@queenonyx7680
@queenonyx7680 4 күн бұрын
I said part of the insecurity is that these bandits hide in the forests. That people should be encouraged to turn the available spaces into an agricultural space. I just used palm oil as example. Please

Maybe she has a degree in palm oil plantation. It is obvious that she is an expert in theoritical agriculture with no idea of practical agriculture. Any palm oil plantation is strictly for palm oil and will hardly be fertile for other produce.
