OMG C&A! I remember that until the mid 90s! I feel old now! I had no idea it still existed abroad! Have you ever learnt Spanish? It's such a beautiful language and one of the most useful to learn. I highly recommend it! 😊💕

It's still a very popular shop in Brazil! They're in pretty much every town here - not the best quality clothing, I'd say it is our version of primark, but quite cheap prices

I knew of the FAN shopping centre, but never realised it was accessible by bus ! thought a hire car or taxi would be needed ! That’s really useful to know. There’s something satisfying about successfully navigating a bus journey abroad ! ☺️ Really enjoyed this series - thank you for putting it together. I find that there is always something new to discover in Palma !

Brogan I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed coming along with you on this trip :) Absolutely wonderful. I felt so bad when you had to say farewell to your new friends. And honestly, your eyes weren't the only ones which became misty. Oh yes I watch the Beans! They're awesome too aren't they. Alex is quite a character lol . I was wondering if you guys crossed paths since I knew they were in Palma as well...and apparently for the same purpose :) Glad it didn't rain the whole time. Loved that cathedral. You and I are a similar age I’m surprised you didn’t know of C&A. The UK had some stores til the late 90s/very early noughties. I am always surprised at how well you take things in your stride, and how confident you are when you’re abroad. The language barrier alone would put me off travelling on my own. You do so well. @@brogantatexo it was kind of like a budget M&S but bigger! I used to get my Easter Sunday outfits from there. They did jeans in odd sizes (11, 13, 15 etc) which was so good if you were between sizes. I kind of miss it! Anyway, I’m glad you loved Palma because I keep raving about it to people. It’s such a cool wee city.
