I just noticed those TUBAS....it's been a LONG time since I've seen a tuba like those. They remind me of military brass bands back in the 1860's. Many of them were constructed so the bell faced BACKWARD. In those days, when a band was available, they marched at the head of a column of soldiers. This characteristic made it possible for the troops to better hear the band and march in a more orderly fashion.
