It has recently returned for some repairs and is star in their gala. Then off to the L&B and thence home to the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways.

How do you get the two videos to play on top of one another. like at 5:30. I've tried, bought Sony movie studio 13 but still can't work out how, so if you could tell me I would be very grateful.

I use Sony Vegas and there are a few different ways of doing it but the simplest is to create a second video track above the first, main one into which you put the clip you want to have as the smaller picture and then reduce the size of the picture. In Vegas there is a small square icon in each clip which when you click it opens the 'event pan/crop' window in which you can change the size of the overlaid clip and move it about on the screen. This is also a useful function for getting shots level which were shot a bit slopey; you can zoom in slightly and rotate the clip until it looks level on the monitor. Hope this helps.

very nice video, how's welsh pony coming along? also, what movie editing software do you use?

Glad you liked it. Welsh Pony has had a little more work done on removing the smokebox and the tank and cab are back from being sandblasted. I use Sony Vegas as my editing platform.
