Wow! Thanks for taking the time and gas to video all the damaged areas. It's so overwhelming and depressing to see. I'm sad for everyone that lost homes, cars, businesses and jobs. Thankfully we have some grocery stores open and gas is getting here soon.

This is my family hometown. I was born in Manatee Memorial 62 yrs ago and my 3 other older siblings. 50% of my family still live in Palmetto and 10% in Bradenton, 15% Tampa. My Grandfather lived in Ellenton when it was just the orange grove but now it’s the outlet mall. My mom & dad moved to Fort Myers after I was born. Thank you for the video.

It really bothers me that in a couple of videos he talks real bad about some neighborhoods saying they are VERY DANGEROUS, HIGH CRIME, he is wrong! I have relatives that live there and is not dangerous, might not be the best but is quiet medium class area.

Have you had a chance to go through colony cove in Ellenton? We got hit hard and the community of 55+ has about 2800 mobile homes. Most of them without power until maybe Thurs and are on both sides of 301. I'm on the south side, manatee river side. National guard and other organizations set up at Ace Hardware. I'd appreciate it. Oh that plantation is the Gamble Plantation of Procter & Gamble.
