Palmetto State Armory Dagger upper fix.

My PSA Dagger upper was a POS Jam-o-matic until I made this fix. Not bashing PSA, love the company. Great customer service and #made in the USA.

That's actually not a PSA slide, and I'm trying to figure out who makes what now the screw will Touch the extractor, Rod had that problem as well, but it was not a PSA firearm, and I have a very good suspension that PSA does NOT make their slides OR vice versa just FYI. Also may have to break it in.

I have a reg dagger compact modeled after the G19 . When I rack my slide ,1st round goes in .2nd round ,when racking the slide , feels like it's seized up . I have to pull really hard to get it to eject. Idk what's wrong. Any ideas?

@bigballshooting5133 so I've been doing some gunsmith work too it. Seems like it's related to the part that feeds the next round. As it slides back its like it's cutting into the metal of the next round. So I'm gonna polish and grind a little more down and see how it does. Not the ejector but the long narrow metal piece under the center of the slide. I noticed some unfinished surfaces as well as sharp corners.

I thought the psa slides fit glock 19 frames, but the psa slide i bought did not fit. Bad tolerances?

The hardware is trash. If you own a PSA dagger you need to get an own striker assembly. The PSA striker is made of sub par materials and the striker is out of spec. The ejector spring is junk. Seeing someone actually use mics and gauges to measure the stuff is fantastic to see! Data not opinion!

Get rid of the psa guide rod assembly also. Get a wolf and 18# spring. The oem Glock striker assembly I used had the updated blue spring cups. The spring is heavier but due to it being better quality the trigger pull weight wasn’t effected and actually smoother. The ets mags are 💩

They definitely lack QC but they're able to manufacturer everything in house making it cheaper. I agree it's not high quality material but I wouldn't say trash. I've put just over 3500 rounds through my 1st gen OG dagger slide with only a couple malfunctions due to cheap ammunition.
