You bought a 500 dollar ar. Stop complaining and making a whole ass video about a company making budget ars, who’s known to have no qc and poor build quality. Take this video down and go spend your 5-600 on a bcm or an aero upper

@@HatsuneM1ku01 Price does not always translate to good quality control. My $1600 Daniel Defense had to be sent back because it could not cycle steel cased ammo. One of my BCM uppers had to be sent in for a gas block. It has taken 15 years for me to have a problem with a PSA upper. So no…. I think I’m good with it.
@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO4 ай бұрын
And it’s silly…. Everyone knows that AERO uppers are as bad as any on the market so it’s hard to take your comment seriously. You should have stopped with BCM.

@@a69erman I was waiting for someone to make this boneheaded comment. As the saying goes “if it can’t handle steel it doesn’t deserve brass”. All my firearms are tested with different ammo to prove reliability. There is no such thing as “shit ammo.” It’s all range ammo and a reliable rifle should be able to handle such a simple task. A $500 rifle can chew up anything and one three times more can’t? Unacceptable. Sent it back and now it works as it should. Or from your logic I should have just left it alone knowing that it might have issues in the future when ammo dries up again. Have you not been through any of these past ammo crises where you were lucky to find anything at all? When it dries up again and it will a good rifle needs to work. Now it does. Do better.

I've never had a problem with PSA. Any upper I buy, I make sure it comes with a BCG due to match headspace, piston/gas port, barrel trueing and other specs. Not all companies have the same specs even though by design should be interchangeable the very slight differences add up especially if you're using different parts from different companies. I also believe depending on what product you buy is what you get. There's a difference in their products which is usually described in the details/specs for example; premium, material, testing, forged, milled, etc... You have to expect a dud every now and then. At least they did what they could to rectify the issue. I recently bought a 30 pack and 2 of them were cracked open... A 6 pack of HDMI cables and the 1st one was trash.

I had a similar story and went the psa route. Smith & Wesson, a cpl 300 blackouts, Sabre .223 wylde 14.5" pin/weld, dagger, walther pdp & I haven't had any issues. I've had issues with other companies tho. I think it's luck of the draw. Sometimes mistakes happen and bravo for psa making things right. 🍻

I have been a long term customer of PSA also. I have never had a problem with them. My biggest problem is my co-workers like what they see and buy my gun or upper or whatever. My current ARs are an Aero and a colt. I have not really noticed much of a difference.

I would have told them to keep that upper. Only because if you ever have issues with thay bcg good luck finding a new one that will work. This really shouldnt be a issue you a customer should deal with later.

listen man psa ar15s and all the others (bear creek arsenal) are great for what they are budget plinking rifles, i wouldn't put my life on the line with a $500 ar especially when you buy a new upper ontop of that making it $800 for another $200 you could get a factory colt le/cr-6920 and have a rifle that's guaranteed 50k rounds without malfunction you will literally shoot the barrel out before the gun breaks colts bolt carrier group is the gold standard when it comes to reliability. look i get it you like the brand, but theres a very good reason that stuff is priced at the point it is and thats because it will never be as good as colt or the other brands theres a reason they are used in combat and not psa

@@Python_John Thanks for the reply. And I think some people get me wrong. I may have more experience with PSA ARs than most do to all the years I made purchases but some people may think they are the only brand I buy. I purchased my Colt LE6920 years ago ironically from Walmart when they were discontinuing the sale of ARs . I know Walmart…but the original price was $1500+ way back then and it was on clearance for$800.00. I wish I would have known that they would go bankrupt as I would have purchased all they had. Sadly Colt is no longer the gold standard. BCM took their place a few years back.

LMT BCGs also don't have their logo on them even tho they're propably the best BCGs on the market. I would never buy anything from the PSA, the QC there almost doesn't exist. I've seen Daggers so poorly made they felt and looked like some chinese crap. There's a video on YT with a JAKL where picatinny rail is totally out of spec and nothing fits on it. Everyone who has spoken the truth about their QC got blocked by them, one store said almost 18% of all PSA guns they sold were returned due to some issues. I would prefer a single high quality, reliable AR15 like Geissele, LWRC, PWS, LMT over 5 PSA rifles. I would only consider buying a PSA rifle as a backup in case something happenes to my main rifle. People who say Dagger is just as reliable as Glock or their cheapest AR15s are as good as Geissele for example are clowns. 🤡As a person who lives in Europe where guns are pretty expensive (most ARs are imported from US) and potential warranty could take a long time I would never take a risk of going with the PSA.

When it comes to PSA and bolt carrier groups they’re just not worth it. You are playing a BCG lottery. They have literally like 6 different (4 not very good) BCG’s you could get. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gona get. Small parts and springs are lacking quality as well. Plinker toy stuff at best.
