I have the non variable speed Palmgren buffer 1750 RPM and it is superb... Definitely need to add the VS to my arsenal next.

We would love to see what you can make happen with a VS option in your shop @knifeknerdreviews4609 (We have the largest line of VS tools that are now in most of our line...Buffers, Grinders, Drills, Saws, and Milling/Lathes)

Hey REK, I removed that post because I thought about what you said, and think there is possibly some validity to your assumption. I was taught about polishing wheels by a long time chrome plater. He owned one of the top Southern California plating shops back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. In chrome plating they have to get the surface as shiny as you want the plating job to be. The other way I mentioned was my idea recently, it seems to be working for me, but I thought about what you said and feel it better to stick to what I was taught originally and that was to use a stiff steel wire brush. Again, not hogging into it, just letting the brush true the wheels slowly. There are those dedicated Wheel Rakes but they really just rough up the wheel where the wire brush is in essence like sandpaper, but not a cross contaminant as sandpaper might be. So thought it best to remove that post and not confuse people.

Sounds good thanks, I'll give the wire brush a shot 👍
