Amazing video, the first few mins, until 16th min was phenomenal. What is key however is how technical / non technical a given audience is, Nir was phenomenal and his vision a sheer 25 years ahead of time. The minute one person the lady from the UK raised regulatory concerns, everyone pretty much jumped on that train, without giving a listen to what he was proposing. Its simple what do governments and regulators want ? Do they want what happened with the US Gas pipeline or do they care more about where the data is stored, as long as its security is proven. We shouldn't get caught up too much in the regulations and forgetting the end goal which is keeping data secure for end users and governments

Don't understand why 98% of the Tech Field Day representatives are always on their laptops.. I don't think they are taking notes, if they have to complete their day job then why join these sessions and disrespect the presenter by looking at the laptop the whole time... ridiculous..

That’s because the operational overhead they have is humongous. Either they are at work or attending tech field day, they still have to cater for their customers. So its better to atleast be at a place where you have an opportunity to hear from the expert.

I can't agree more than governments should regulate the outcome rather than the process. how many companies are now doing checkbox security rather than really solving the problems?! When was the last time we saw governments are so agile that they give good recommendations?! If we were to focus to solve the problem rather than spending unnecessary money to compliance reasons, the world will be a much better place.

It would be great if you have your sandbox or pod in aws where all company or org Amazon AWS account vpc direct their traffic to your Amazon infosec sandbox pod per region and get out egress and ingress of the Amazon cloud ☁... Just a thought 💭 came in mind while watching this...
