Video explanation is very good but doesn't it called active-passive ??? Why do you need to switch off the active device?? Need to capture by keeping active active

The traffic flow is like Active Passive then what is the difference. Once the Pri-Act goes down as usual the traffic auto falls back to Sec-Act.
