Alyssa Valdez’s teammate, Jho Maraguinot, has had a superb performance during the season 78 of UAAP women's volleyball where she ranked second when it comes to spiking department while Alyssa Valdez was ranked third that season. Ito yung season na di pa siya pressured since nandyan pa yung number scorer nila. After that, yung burden nasa kanya na dahil many people were expected her to score like Aly. After this season din nagkaroon siya ng injury kaya medyo nawala yung laro niya. And now after many therapy sesions it's about time to see her fly and spread her wings again. #EagleClaw

Pang back-up lang talaga si Jho. Di sya pang main gunner. Nappressure sya. While Alyssa in the other hand loves the pressure and always willing to carry the team regardless of the situation.

@@darkmoon7773 kaya naman ni jho, explosive pa din naman siya nung season 79 eh and it's because of how Jia distributes the ball to her. Yung chemistry and kung gaano siya sinanay ni jia with her plays and how she adopts the system of coach tai kaya niya maging main gunner. Sad to say, hindi na ginamit ni Jia yung last playing year niya and after she left, sumunod narin si coach tai. Not to hate ha, pero magkaiba talaga yung setting style ni wong (baloon set) and I know yung mga players hindi agad nakapag adjust to that. Setters will always be the key kung bakit nakikilala yung mga spikers.

I am dlsu fan. Pero si sa totoo lang maganda ang season ni jho nung 78 grabe talaga siya that season. Nung s79 sa first round maganda nilalaro niya, medjo nawala lng nung second round, lageng gigil sa bola, sana yun yung iwasan niya, malakas talaga yan

I think this season rin gave her the opportunity to step up lalo na't pinaghandaan ng halos lahat ng teams si Aly. Pero grabe lang din talaga power niya in spiking, yun lang consistency lang. Pansin ko lang pagka nagka error sya, minsan nagiging streak of errors ito, pero overall magaling din to pwede ring all around player ehh.

Alyssa's attack efficiency is obviously gonna be lower kasi mas madami ang attempts nya kasi sya ang nagbubuhat sa Ateneo that season. But imagine that she can still be on top 3 even though sa kanya lagi ang bato ng bola lalo na pag nasa hard situations ang Ateneo. Salute kay Jho too sya yung tinuring kong next queen eagle eh kaso hindi sya ganong nahasa, sayang. She has a bright future din.

I think what Jho lacks is her taking ownership of her team. She doesn't acknowledge that she is the ace spiker of her team. The moment she takes leadership of her team, she will be as good as Alyssa hehe

you can see in this video na jho is powerful but needs the consistency, i'll still go to fille kahit hindi masyadong powerful ang spikes nya she still has the consistency and versatility.. but overall jho and fille are still the ballerina twins of the eagles.

i do love both and i agree jho lacked consistency pero the other comments down here are unnecessary. i think nakakalimutan din i consider ng iba is yung competition. i'm not saying na one is better and harder than the other pero recognize na the level of play keeps elevating sa pilipinas but agreed. i do want to see jho come back to her healthy form soon tho. i know she has a lot to give.
