..i was in palolem in 1990. it was an empty fishing village. the only place to stay was a little wooden shack with no electricity or water. there was one small restaurant on the road to the village. we were the only tourist in the village , exept some german hippies , wich was staying camping on the little island at the lagoon. seeing what this place have become today , makes me very sad..

Hello...I just loved the vibes of Palolem beach that you shared with us...It must be a Nostalgia for you😊...And surely, You must have spent very beautiful time there in Palolem...Yes things have been more commercialized everywhere...But if you like secluded beaches then still there are many very less crowded beaches in South Goa like Agonda etc 😊👍🏻...Hope you visit them again🤞🏻

Yes I agree with you I was there 1993 loved it so peaceful, and very cheap, went back in 1999 didn't recognise the place to busy then hate to think what it must be like now.

I was in palolem back in very early 1990s, no shops, bars, restaurants, the beach was empty I loved the place we called it paradise beach, went back in 1999 and didn't recognise the place the beach was busy with bars, restaurants, accommodation ect, to see it now does make one sad not the peace full place it used to be.
