Paloma is an incredibly grounded person, and has a large amount of control over her career. She is not a record label puppet like so many generic artists at the moment. Her style and taste in music is not the simple repetative shit that you hear in in the top 40 these days. As a result her market audience is smaller. Some artists are literal cash cows that are milked for couple of years and then dropped by their label when they lose popularity. Paloma is not like this at all, she is more of a "slow burner" and will have a long career.
