I am curious how Naga Sadow, Exar, Ulic, Revan, and Vitiate fit in this version of history. They can just be different Sith Lords who dominated the galaxy in succession, but their stories as we know them kinda require an unconquered Republic and Jedi Order. I guess in this version of events, Darth Ruin founds the Sith instead of Ajunta Pal. Pehraps we have Marka Ragnos and Tulak Hord or maybe we just have Naga Sadow as Ruin's apprentice. Naga Sadow might have lead an initially unsuccesful first invasion against the Republic. Then Exar might be the one to etablish the Great Sith Empire and conquer Coruscant, killing the Chancellor, dirinv out the Jedi, and building the Temple there. Perhaps Ulic's redemption could be him helping a Jedi Strike Force assassinate the Sith Leader and cause the Sith to go into chaos. This Chaos could allow the Jedi to escape and secretly rebuild, until Darth Vitiate arises as the Sith Emperor of Coruscant. Then maybe during this time, the Jedi could be helping a sort of Government in Exile out in the Mid Rim, only for the Sith Emperor to manipulate Mandalorians to invade this region. Perhaps, after beating the Mandos, an arrogant Revan and Alek might then try to go and kill the reigning Sith who started the War, only to be turned to the Darkside and return to destroy the Jedi on Dantooine. Revan might be redeemed, and try to kill the Emperor again, only to be captured this time and either executed or driven mad or whatever. Darth Tanis could be a follower of Revan's, like Traya was, or maybe she's an Empress after Vitiate. Then maybe Skere Kaan could be the last Sith Emperor or something.

If memory serves in this case, I recall that the reconstituted Sith Empire half of the known galaxy during the time of the great Galactic war, the Galaxy would be split three ways between the old Republic, the Sith Empire, and the eternal empire

The Sith Shrine needs to be the center plot piece in a series about the Sith. They need someone who understands how the Sith operate before and during the Rule of Two. They must understand what the dark side can and cannot do to write it. Most importantly it needs to be fucking terrifying. Start it in ancient times, explain how the Shrine got there in the first place. The first season ends with the rise of Bane, they can play around with the timeline. For season 2, the Rule of Two Sith would rediscover the Shrines existence during Zhannah's infiltration into the Jedi Temple. This rediscovery makes Bane realize victory is assured and then season 2 closes with the climactic duel between the two Sith.

It is rather strange that in legends this line is never explored and makes no sense. They never gave a dark lord of the Sith the victory and eventual defeat that would make this line fit. A lot of the legends lore of the ancient Sith lords is just as good or better than anything George wrote and especially better than anything Disney has done. This however is one of the holes among many that show how legends is rather flawed in its own ways. I honestly prefer the idea from the Darth Bane novels, in explaining how the Sith remained hidden, that his apprentice Darth Zannah invented this spell to hide in the force. Though hers was unrefined and had a major weakness. This required a talisman that she crafted while also requiring constant focus. So if the user was exited or agitated its effects would be cut off until they regained their composure. It would stand to reason that this would be refined over the centuries to the point of Sith like plagueis and Sedius who could use this power on their own and with much less effort.
