Maybe if they would actually start the show on time the Open guys would be on stage earlier. They aren’t going to get rid of the other divisions and the mens prize money is much more. Anyone who doesn’t like the format doesn’t have to buy a ticket or the live stream. My guess is the live stream will be free next year now that Arnold is making the live stream free for the Arnold Classic

It's also odd that for a sport that is 100% visuals we don't have a reasonable way to view it. The streams are always complete shit quality. 2023 and they are scraping by with something barely resembling 720p? Not to mention all the other nonsense that doesn't aid to the visual clarity such as the strobing lights and lasers flashing in front of the cameras. It's a niche sport based off visuals, and they can't get it right to show you anything worth looking at for free let alone the price they charge for it. Also, the timeframe is a joke.

Yup Brandon summed it up at the end. This is why Dave is always kept at an arm's length from the IFBB. They can't handle the truth because it hurts. Considering you have one day out of a year to look your best and any variable can screw it up it doesn't make sense to have the guys wait till the last minute. I'm guessing they have the other classes go first because they know people will wait for the open. Splitting them up wouldn't work give since very few give two shits about the men's swimmer division and the softcore porn division. Classic and Open is what is enticing people.

From the back, Derek clearly wins in both those poses with his back depth, definition and flutes/hams. That means hadi has all the front and side poses with his hardness, conditioning and vascularity along with either being bigger than Derek (quads, chest, triceps) or the same size (everything else). Derek takes the back poses.

Hey Dave it's never going to change. Prejudge will always be late for the open guys on a two day show. And if it isn't, then open bodybuilding will be a thing of the past and and after thought like women's bodybuilding. With that said do you know Dorian would have done in this case, he would have realized this and started living in a 3rd shift type lifestyle. Phil Heath use to work out during the witching hours and every single legit pro should be doing the same thing. Get your body acclimated to bring at it's best at night. Just like Phil Heath did and we all know Dorian would have. These pro chumps who train in the morning get what they deserve. Lol

That was my thought, someone like Dorian would do everything to have an advantage and prepare accordingly knowing it would be that late in the day. I do think they should have it earlier in the day for men’s open along with better lighting on stage.

When pro fighters have a fight overseas somewhere, or even just a different time zone, they begin adjusting their sleep and training, eating, etc., to match with the time they will be competing These bodybuilders are the best in the world, they should be making these same type of adjustments to cater to the competition timeframe

They have this problem because they bundled everything together and trying to everything in two days. They have the whole weekend. Spread it out to Sunday. I remember the old days when there was only the Mr. and Ms. Olympia, they were held a month apart, and it was done in one day.
